Quality assurance: Your counsellor is a member of Certified Practicing Counsellors Australia, receives regular clinical supervision, and is bound by the CPCA code of ethics. Should you have any complaints about the service you receive you may lodge a complaint with Certified Practicing Counsellors Australia www.cpcaus.com.au

​​Bookings and Cancellations: All bookings require a full deposit before the scheduled appointment. Confirmation of payment received secures your booking.
Cancellation of bookings with more than 24hrs notice will receive a full refund.
Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will not receive a refund.
Clients are invited to reschedule any missed appointments, however if a client cancels or reschedules three consecutive appointments, they will forfeit their regular appointment time. Future sessions will need to be rebooked based on availability.

​​​Communication: Clients agree to receive email and text reminders before their appointment. These reminders are automated and sent via an office management software program (Halaxy). Clients are welcome to contact me via text or email for the purpose of rescheduling or cancelling appointments. Therapeutic support outside of scheduled sessions is not available, except in cases where additional support sessions have been arranged in advance. Please note that I will only respond to messages within business hours. Ongoing personal communication between sessions is not available.

​Therapy by phone or video (online): Ensure you find a confidential space where you are unlikely to be interrupted. Online Counselling is offered via Google Meet (web videoconference software), phone, and email. There is no cost for clients to use Google Meet. However, please be aware that videoconferencing will use your internet bandwidth and that your Internet Service Provider may charge you for excess bandwidth used.​
5. Confidentiality: Counselling is a safe space for you to discuss your concerns. Information revealed by you within the counselling appointment is private and confidential. All information provided by you maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy (click here) and cannot be released to anyone outside the service without your written permission.
However, there are exceptions to this confidentiality. Information discussed in counselling may be disclosed by the counsellor if:
1. You reveal that you or someone you know is at serious risk of harm;
2. Counselling notes are subpoenaed by the court;
3. To offer you the best possible service, your counsellor may need to discuss your case with a clinical supervisor or within a clinical supervision group. Supervision is part of counsellor registration requirements, to ensure counsellors are practicing in safe and ethical ways. In clinical supervision identifying information such as names are not used.

These limits to confidentiality will be discussed with you in the counselling session.
